Four generations of the Mondavi family have grown and produced wines among the world’s finest. Since leaving Robert Mondavi Winery, Robert’s children Tim and Marcia Mondavi, along with their children, maintain this continuum of excellence, innovation and tradition.

Napa Cult Wine

Delicious in its youth, Continuum has firm supple tannins, richness and length. With age, our wine will evolve to express greater nuance, delicacy and interest. Our current releases are concentrated, full-bodied and perfectly ripe and our cellar wines have balance and interest at every age.

Continuum Estate, Napa Valley

Our Continuum Estate is on Pritchard Hill on the east side of Napa Valley. At Continuum we emphasize the varieties we feel Napa Valley sites grow best. 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc and 15% Petit Verdot will eventually cover 62 acres. The perfect combination of soils, exposure and climate grow wine in the company of the world’s finest.

Mondavi’s Extended Family

Tim Mondavi is the winegrower, visionary and creative force behind all aspects of Continuum Estate. In 1974 Tim joined the winemaking team full time at Robert Mondavi Winery. He became director of winemaking in 1976, a post he held until 2004. Marcia Mondavi Borger shares oversight of all aspects of Continuum with Tim. Continuum is an extended family. Each of our team combines expertise with passion, dedication with insight, and a genuine love of the vine.

Carissa Mondavi

Carissa Mondavi plays a key role in Communications, Hospitality and bringing Continuum to the market. Keen on liberating people’s experience with wine she is thrilled to be sharing her family story with others, and contributing to the realization of her father’s vision.

Carlo Mondavi

Carlo Mondavi oversees Western US sales for Continuum. From the ripe age of five, Carlo could be found in the vineyard, still in his pajama’s, helping harvest before sunrise. Later, Carlo worked at the Robert Mondavi Winery in several areas including winemaking, viticulture and sales.

Continuum Estate Artist in Residence

Chiara Mondavi, a graduate from the California College of Arts, in Continuum’s resident artist. Her unique painting ‘Light of the Vine’, a shadow painting, is also Continuum’s label which perfectly expresses our singular wine.
