010's cooler than normal conditions made for an exciting harvest. Our setting above the fog combined with low yields of 2 tons per acre and extreme selectivity in vineyard and cellar produced an outstanding wine. 92% grown at our estate on Pritchard Hill, the 2010 Continuum exhibits a rich, supple texture enveloping firm mountain tannins while revealing minerality and purity of fruit.

he 2009 is a fabulous expression of our Pritchard Hill estate with more than 80% sourced from our vineyards high above Oakville. Aromas of wild black cherry, chocolate and summer rose open to cardamom and black truffle on the palate. The 2009, our fifth release, is lush, supple and elegant with a long, complex finish; enjoy today or age for a generation or more.

ur fourth release, 2008, marks an exciting transition as 70% of the fruit is sourced from our estate vineyards on Pritchard Hill. Aromas of black plum, mulberry, and coffee spice lead to black cherry, tobacco, bitter chocolate, and graphite flavors. A wine of exquisite power and elegance, the 2008’s inherent harmony and balance make it delicious now, while assuring tremendous ageability.

armoniously integrated and balanced, the 2007 Continuum has polished, supple tannins, a rich mid-palate and a long, nuanced finish. Aromas of black currant, mulberry, and rose petal lead to cardamom, truffle and graphite flavors. The 2007 vintage expresses Tim and Marcia Mondavi’s roots as well as their future, sourcing fruit from Napa Valley vineyards in both Oakville and Pritchard Hill. This singular wine is elegant, silky in texture with both power and finesse.

he year 2006 was in many ways an ideal year for Continuum. After a stormy late winter season, spring came with mild winds, abundant sunshine and warm temperatures, ideal conditions for bloom. A mild summer and cool, dry fall through early November, brought in fruit at optimal ripeness. The resulting wine is concentrated, full-bodied and perfectly ripe.

he 2005 Continuum is a dense, beautifully harmonious, rich and aromatic wine with very expressive and generous flavors. It has a warm and enveloping entry, rich middle palate and long finish. Descriptors include rose petal, brown spice, sandalwood and cardamom, lingering with flavors of graphite and licorice on the finish. It shows a suppleness and generosity that makes it approachable now, with a firmness of supple tannins that promise a long and beautiful life.
